Chinese Whispers is a cross between a game and an anonymous social network.
You can play by either ‘listening’ to someone else’s whisper or by creating your own. A whisper is a sentence or paragraph of text.
By listening to a whisper you are opening the text and amending a single word, then passing it on. By creating a whisper you start the chain off with your own sentence.
The whisper goes to as many people as there are words. So, the sentence: ‘Hi, this is BAMify and we make apps.’ would go to 8 people as there are 8 words.
Players are awarded points for listening or creating a whisper. If the whisper is the same at the end as when it started then the author receives a large bonus.
